(PENTICTON, B.C.) - Okanoggin Barbers Ltd., along with Penticton and area individuals and businesses, are proud to sponsor a fundraiser to support Wills Hodgkinson who is battling cancer.
The 10-year-old Pentictonite continues to fight his third round of treatment. With the strong support and many donations from the community, Okanoggin Barbers will hold a raffle fundraiser. The barber team at Okanoggin Barbers will donate their day’s pay on Saturday, February 27 at the end of which we will hold the raffle draw.
“We decided to do this because we believe we have an avenue and relationship with our community to bring people together to help someone who so deserves it,” says Peter Beauchamp, owner of Okanoggin Barbers Ltd. “We are strong believers of community supporting community and this one does that so very well.”
Drop by the shop at 254 Ellis St. Penticton any time to buy a ticket, make a donation, or to book an appointment for Feb. 27. Check our Facebook page for updates on the contents of the fundraiser basket.
“We have always said we live in a caring, supportive community. We may have differences along the way, but when it comes to helping a community member we are all in,” says Beauchamp. “The support from family friends and businesses has been honestly overwhelming. The gift package for the draw is unreal, seriously unreal.”
