Masters of the Hole continues its reign over the Slackwater Brewing Cornhole League, hosted by HEK Yeah Media.
Masters of the Hole went a perfect 3-0, including defeating Team A-Maze-Ing 21-9 on Jan.16. What makes them so good?
“The Slackwater beer,” says Jason, without any coaching or payment (seriously, he offered the response on his own). “I think we get our energy and our mojo from the Slackwater beer. It helps my focus, I shoot better. It’s great beer.”
Masters of the Hole started the evening by defeating Team A-Maze-Ing A, 21-13. Team A-Maze-Ing A finished 1-1 on the night. Masters of the Hole’s other win was against Game of Throws (1-1) 21-11.
Jason stirred the pot by saying that Team A-Maze-Ing B was a tougher fight than the other Team A-Maze-Ing.
“They were a good team to play,” says Clint. “That was a good night all around. Look forward to next Thursday.”
Jennifer and Rick of Team A-Maze-Ing B say they did well. The pair earned a $25 Slackwater gift card.
When asking Masters of the Hole about their secret to winning, it came back to the beer, but also the cool prizes as a motivator, as they won their second set of Slackwater Brewing long sleeve shirts. In the season one championship, they won tickets to the Harlem Globetrotters event.
Why Not join the league and performed well, but fell short in the win column losing both its matches (21-15 and 21-6). A tester team, Game of Throws 2 (a.k.a Mandrea) also performed well, but was also 0-2 (21-13 and 21-11).
