Hungry to take down Masters of the Hole, Game of Throws fired their shot, but the arrow missed by a wide margin.
Masters of the Hole won the opening week of the third season of Slackwater Brewing’s Cornhole League, sponsored by HEK Yeah Media, 21-3.
It was a match full of tension as both sides knew the stakes. Glory over the other, plus a pair of tickets to the OK Cask Fest, hosted by Slackwater Brewing.
How did both teams find each other butting heads?
Masters of the Hole defeated the Cornpops 21-13, then defeated Team A-Maze-Ing B 21-1. They punched their ticket into the final dance with a 21-0 victory over We So Corny. Game of Throws lost their opening match to Team A-Maze-Ing, 21-10, but rebounded with a 21-13 win over Why Not. They then defeated Mandrea 21-10 for a shot at Masters of the Hole.
