New foe, no problem for Masters of the Hole

Joe of the Cornpops and Cindy of Team A-Maze-Ing each got four-baggers in one round during the Slackwater Brewing Cornhole League on Thursday night.

More teams. More great action. More fun.

The highlight of last week’s Slackwater Brewing Cornhole League, hosted by HEK Yeah Media, was Joe of the Cornpops and Cindy of Team A-Maze-Ing each earning four-baggers (sinking four straight bags in the hole). A cornhole league member has coined it Chuck Norris.

It was an awesome moment that received great cheers.

Masters of the Hole once again took the weekly championship defeating Game of Throws, 21-4 to finish 4-0. Their performance was rewarded with a pair of tickets to Daniel Wesley’s live performance on Feb. 22.

Masters of the Hole enjoyed facing a new foe for ultimate glory.

“It was a great finale actually. It was kind of a nice change,” says Clint. “We’re getting some more teams showing up. More coming in.”

Masters of the Hole’s other wins were 21-9 against Mandrea, then 21-4 versus Team A-Maze-Ing B, then 21-3 in a rematch against Mandrea.

“I thought we underperformed a bit in the early game,” says Jason. “The last game that (performance) kind of came around. Clint played strong the first two games.”

Game of Throws advanced to the final by defeating Team A-Maze-Ing 21-14. Kristi put a dagger into Team A-Maze-Ing when she nearly earned a Chuck Norris, but settled for seven points in the final round. They opened the night with a 21-19 loss to Team A-Maze-Ing B. They defeated newcomers We So Corny 21-6.
